I first chose to run on behalf of Cancer Research UK in order to help people with Cancer throughout the world.

I plan to enter several more runs on behalf of Cancer Research UK over the years ahead.

I was privileged to be able to run for the first time with my niece. The run took place at Dorney Lake near Eton, Surrey, UK, a refreshing run with wonderful sunshine from start to finish, a good run to finish off running for 2006.

Amount raised by us for the charity was £350  with further fund raising for Cancer Research UK when I enter other runs organised by this charity, plus my donation via my forthcoming Caribbean Property Auction, see below for details..

What a great way to end my 2006 running year, I shall be running many more of their 10k runs in the future to raise much needed money for all people with Cancer
