The above photo shows how exhausted, weary, shattered I was after running 26 Miles (42k) but with an overwhelming feeling of elation that I completed one of the most prestigious endurance Marathons in the world; the London Marathon-2006.

The 2006 London Marathon is over, now the charity fund raising continues, the charity I nominated to support for 2006/7 was Children with Leukaemia.

The initial amount raised by me and my sponsors for the charity for running the London Marathon 2006 was £709 (Sterling) plus my donation via the forthcoming Caribbean Property Auction, see below for details.

Another day, another run, another Medal and all for a good cause, saving the lives of Children with Leukaemia.

After 13.2 miles (21 Kilometers) my exhaustion was hidden by the sheer elation of achieving the completion of such a run and for such a good cause.

Some senior executives or Entrepreneurs prefer to sit back in their office suites and begrudgingly hand out nominal cheques to charitable organisations. 

I prefer the more challenging approach, which not only benefits more charities and provides larger donations, but also keeps me very healthy, both in body and mind.

I want to be remembered for my contribution towards helping to save the lives of 10's of thousands of Children both those presently suffering with Leukaemia, those yet to be diagnosed with Leukaemia and also allow those children yet to be born, for them to come into a world free of such terrible diseases as Leukaemia.
