When I first started Marathon running The Charity I chose to support was Children with Leukaemia, since that time I have decided that to support as many charities as possible is also important. The following information refers to my initial introduction to helping Children with Leukaemia and the charity fund raising which continues to date.

A Tribute to Diana

By far one of the finest Lady's to have ever walked this earth, sadly her life was taken too early, during her brief life she did so much for so many, she highlighted the good causes in the world that lacked support, the ones which need everyone's help.

For a brief period I personally knew Princess Diana, we met in the Caribbean and spent some time talking together.

She was a Charismatic person, more so than any other person I had met including the Queen, the late Queen Mother, Prince Charles, The Dalai Lama and many more persons who achieve the title "Celebrity" whom I have met and many I personally know.

Princess Diana had an Elegance, Quality, Style and smile that will always be remembered by me.

I recall being present at a charity Luncheon on the Caribbean island of Tobago, when I received a phone call from my London office, they told me of the devastating news of Diana's death, such a loss to the world.

I openly wept on hearing the news, I could not comprehend a world without one of the finest ladies that ever lived, Diana.

When I first approached Children with Leukaemia I had no knowledge that Princess Diana was the inaugurator of the charity. In fact like so many others, I knew next to nothing of the charity or what its function was.

Princess Diana first inaugurated Children with Leukaemia and it is up to everyone now to ensure that the charity is supported 100% whenever possible, because Leukaemia is the Number One child killer disease in the UK.

When you think of Princess Diana think of Children with Leukaemia, when you think of Children with Leukaemia remember Diana, then give as much money as you can spare.

Just one step to go and I have completed the London Marathon - 2006

I have and always will be a firm believer in that

"if you've got it, you should always give it"

that is why I am an hardened supporter of charitable organizations and projects throughout the world, especially third world countries.

Remember: Saving the lives of Children with Leukaemia is far more important than spending money on your next visit to the Cinema

The money you spend on unnecessary luxuries would be better used to help find a cure for Leukaemia and help make the lives of those Children who suffer from Leukaemia more tolerable.
