Supporting these children would be difficult to achieve without the assistance of my good friend Ven. Devananda a Sri Lanka Buddhist Monk. He is not only the Monk who ensures that all funds are used for the welfare of the children, he is also my personal teacher of Buddhism.

As you can see some of the children come from such poor families that they cannot afford shoes for their children's feet.

Many of the children have to walk with their parents many miles (km) to the school, because of this some of the parents sit and wait outside the school until the school day is over before returning with their children for their long walk home.
