Poor Children's education in

Sri Lanka

Supporting these children would be difficult to achieve without the assistance of my good friend Ven. Devananda a Sri Lanka Buddhist Monk.

As you can see some of the children come from such poor families that they cannot afford shoes for their children's feet.

Developing the play area for the children is planned in the near future

Ensuring that the school receives books and toys for the children is very important

Here are some of the children which I support, sat in their classroom with some of their parents waiting to take them home.

Many of the children have to walk with their parents such long distances to the school, that some of the parents sit and wait outside the school until the school day is over before returning with their children for their long walk home.
